CHÂTEAU DAUPHINÉ-RONDILLON

img1 Since 1927, the wines of Château Dauphiné-Rondillon are commercialised in bottles and are appreciated as much as the prestigious Sauternes.
During a lunch given in honour of the Queen Juliana of Netherlands, the Château Dauphiné-Rondillon 1937 was presented together with Château Yquem 1939.
The vineyard is exclusively situated in the high slopes of Loupiac, exposed South-South West. The soil is mainly a clayey chalk. On all the bases of the hillsides, the soil is made of clay or gravel on the top hill.
